Meet Dr. Sirdar

I have upheld a personal mission: to empower my patients with knowledge to make informed decisions about their health and to live their best lives. My medical experience includes research, public and global health and, most recently, hospital medicine. Each step in my journey has further crystalized my goal of providing high-quality, personalized patient care.

A little more about me: in addition to medicine, I love traveling, reading (I read on average a book a week!), chasing our puppy, and keeping up with one of our three school-aged children. I am married to an academic neurologist who has dedicated his life to saving people from strokes. I am truly grateful to be the daughter and daughter-in-law of women physicians, the eldest of six siblings, and aunt to many beautiful nieces and nephews. Fun fact: I love weight lifting. My current personal best is 135 lbs on the squat rack.

I look forward to meeting you soon,

Dr. Sirdar’s approach to medicine combines evidence-based practice with personalized attention, ensuring each patient receives comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs. At Bethesda Modern Primary Care, she is dedicated to building lasting relationships with her patients while providing the highest standard of medical care.

My dream for my patients is the same as I have for my own family:
